KCW: Nice Pillowcase

When I first learned to shirr fabric about four years ago I felt like a rock star. It is a pretty handy trick and once you work out all of the fine points, you will probably do what I did and shirr any fabric you can get your hands on.
Since Phia is at the point in her life where cutesy clothes need to have a touch of hip and cool, I have cut down my old "shirr at will" ways. But then, a cute piece of fabric will turn up and I just can't resist. While sorting my stash I found a recently thrifted pillowcase that was begging to be reworked into a dress.
To anyone who is looking for a relatively easy technique with a big pay off, might I suggest the old elastic shirring trick.  Once you master the basic technique, might I suggest adding in bias sleeves and bonus ruffle?

Love how you added a few extra details to elevate the simple shirred dress! Cute pillowcase, cute little gal.
