This summer has been full of projects that uphold the notion that good things come to those who wait.

The garden took off slowly, but is budding and fruiting and thriving.
Tomatoes slowly roasted on a cool summer day make an unbelievably delicious snack- especially mingled with garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
And a collection of favorite colors and prints make quilts feel vibrant and fun. It keeps me going back for more, yet a foreseeable goal is in sight- just the sewing project I needed right now.
