Phia's obsession with the color pink is unwavering. Any time she spies pink fabric in my sewing room, she requests that it promptly be made into a dress. I think it was only made worse after I showed her this little
gem from "Funny Face".

Little girl was so excited when I finished this simple little a-line dress. Like surprisingly excited. I feel like I should be sewing up more just to see her so delighted. Since it was pretty easy to put together- the pleats at the neckline totally cooperated for me- it would be well worth it.

She paired it with a mini-
drapey cardigan made from the same abandoned project as this
top.

This is beyond adorable. What a cutie and what a cute outfit.
i love simple little dresses like this! and the pink obsession...my child can surely relate to. :)
lovely! I'm not a fan of pink, but I quickly discovered that being a mom of a little girl, I can't avoid finding myself loving pink items.
I can't believe SHE paired those two together, she's got better style than me. Such a cute dress and a lovely shade of pink, not at all sickly! I think you're doing well tackling this 'pink obsession'.
absolutely adorable outfit!
so what you're saying is my daughter's 2 year obsession with pink is likely to continue? oh boy, i'd better settle in for the long haul. you're definitely making it work, though - i love that sweet little dress!
Go Phia. How sweet you look in pink! SO CUTE!
Love, Ma
