Pure Procrastination

So, I did feel pretty accomplished when I finished hand binding this quilt the other day. I made it with solid scraps and pretty patterns that I have been wanting to use for forever. Twas a hard thing to decide how I would use one of my fabric Heather Ross prints- but I am happy with the result.
But, there was a nagging feeling in the back of my mind, reminding me I should have been working on something else. Halloween costumes, perhaps? The kids and I have yet to decide on costumes- and I think this year we will not be able to come up with a clever pair theme to follow.
So, in the next couple days (literally, yikes!) I will probably be throwing together some makeshift last minute costumes. Any suggestions on what those should be?

Pretty quilt! I have never quilted by hand, but I wish I could. If I had kids I would be making this costume: http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/baby-halloween-costume-bluebird I'm sure it could be adapted to older kids too. I also like these: http://www.marthastewart.com/photogallery/homemade-kids-halloween-costumes#slide_16 Too cute. Halloween is the best.
