Drapey

Even though the end of summer is sad, I really do love this time of year. With chilly mornings, I have a reason to layer up- especially when I am asked to give Danny a last minute ride to the train station.
Because of the short notice, I have been known to wear some pretty embarrassing things out of the house. So, I decided to make some neutral and delicate cardigans with a bit of drape to layer over (or hide) whatever I can throw on before we run out the door. I have to thank Danny who took this photo for me at the train station seconds before he had to run up a flight of stairs to make his train.
I liked the fit so much I made a parchment pattern and wrote up a little walkthrough for anyone interested in making a super easy and versatile piece of clothing. As always, if you have any questions, please email or comment.

That is so casually elegant and pretty. I definitely need a few in my wardrobe - now to find the time to sew them up...

I need this! I looked on the tutorial page but didn't see any instructions on how to make the pattern or sew this cute top.

Am I looking in the wrong place?
