It is very humbling when you realize how quickly your child has grown up. When Phia was but nine months old I made her a little pinafore apron with a seersucker berry print. Upon finishing it, I thought to myself 'wow, it will be forever before she can wear this'.

And just like that, she turned into a little baking ballerina who loves to throw an apron over her tutu and set to work in the kitchen. Wow.

That's the cutest little apron. I think baking with children is so much fun. I think I am going to make some cookies or pie this afternoon. My little ones thank you for inspiring me ;-)
