Since Danny was promoted we have been seeing much, much less of him. Now that he is out of the house 16+ hours a day, we have been making new routines to take the kid's thoughts off of his absence.
Like trips to our favorite rainy day destinations...
... dinners very much so made by mom...
...and enjoying him that much more when he is home.

Second the guess on the IKEA rainy day trip. Remember--It is not about the time you spend but about the quality of time you spend with loved ones. You are all about quality---Cherish it!!!!
