The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Winter Edition)

My living room is in a transitional state. Since Phia is old enough to enjoy some of the finer details of the holiday season we decided to (modestly) decorate this year.
While a Douglas Fir would have been nice, we opted for one of its distant relatives of the fiber optic variety. Plug her in and the kids could care less that the house doesn't smell of pine. Thanks to Phia and Ori the tree has been trimmed, and then untrimmed and trimmed again, and so on.

Sure beats our aluminum tree with the color wheel of Christmas's past. Redecorating trees is not confined to children. (Kathy redecorated the tree continually up into her adult years.) Life is great with these little ones. Please, I ask you to blog daily and send me more pics---really brightens up my day.
Love ya!

And if you had a tree Ma, I'd travel back to Kansas to redecorate it.

Phia . . . the ornament on the lower right . . . tweak it just a bit, would'ya?
