sweet pea coats

a whole lot of sewing is going on, and most of it has been done with colder days in mind. i have made a couple of these fleece pea-coat inspired hoodies, and they have been perfect for our indecisive weather. appropriate enough for chilly days, but not quite as heavy and restrictive as the sleeping-bag-weight down parka.

i thought it might be
nice to put up the
steps again, and i
hope that this might
help someone jump
into coat making this
winter.

once again, if you have any questions, you can email me at liliashp@gmail.com, and if you would like a hard copy of this pattern in size 3T-4T, we might be able to work something out, preferably a litte scrap fabric swapping.

Great idea---"sweet pea" coat. Love that child wearing that coat. She makes a wonderful model. What is your favorite material?---Oh, gee you have my number---call and we can visit about it.
Love (your persistent) and loving, Ma

the coat is gorgeous! I think I'll give this a try next year, we're already past the not cold enough for a winter jacket time pretty much.
