poor weather = soup!

i have actually been cooking lately, which is pretty different because i usually leave that task to danny. why would i want to eat swedish meatballs when he brings me short ribs braised in a red wine sauce? what about my french onion soup versus his butternut squash soup that doesn't need cream because it tastes like pure squash deliciousness? i think i have been cooking because our new apartment has an insanely large kitchen and it is getting pretty chilly and ugly outside.
i have been leaving the casa less and sewing more. the holiday season is just around the corner so it is probably for the best that i start sewing now.
