Plain Elain Dress

Over the weekend I made this little cotton dress. I wanted something cute and versatile, and based the design off of this, but with a more modest neckline.
I found this really cute ditsy at a flea market and thought that I had scored a pretty vintage fabric. But when I was putting it in the washer I found a tag stuck to it that revealed it was purchased from Walmart a couple weeks ago. Could have fooled me...
It turned out to be a simple little staple piece that would look cute dressed up or down.

That is adorable... I love it!
Did you really find those coloring books at Marshall's? I wonder what the chances are of our having them in. Must check!

It's just got this great and simple country-girl charm that cannot be denied. Did you draft your own pattern for this!? ^_^
