More indoor time means more reading and we have really appreciated receiving The Book of Children's Classics from Danny's Uncle Chris. It is a collection of many wonderful stories that Phia and I both love and it includes many of our favorites. One story that I loved as a child and love sharing with my daughter is Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. It is an incredibly charming story that illustrates the importance of spreading joy and beauty.
After reading it so many times during this very long winter, I feel so inspired to do something this spring that will make the world a more beautiful place.
Being yourself, spending time, and loving your family as you do makes the world beautiful. It certainly ripples down to makes my life more beautiful. You touch my heart w/your caring and thoughtfulness.
