goodbye, march!

on  tuesday it was 65 degrees outside. but it rained. it does bring a lot of hopeful thoughts about warm weather and actually leaving my apartment more than twice a week. it has been a long winter, only made worse by the feeling that i have lost the freedom of leaving whenever i feel fit. it has given  me some time to clean and sew, though, and yesterday i received a new sewing machine in the mail.  

orion is getting BIG, so soon i won't have to worry about taking him out. 

and look! do you see that hair growing in!?
